Science teachers who teach 6th-8th grades will take a deep dive into the new Louisiana Student Standards for Science.

Saturday, March 24  | 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | UNO — Utilizing the 5E Instructional Model as a framework for lesson design, teachers will delve into the new Louisiana Student Standards for Science with the foci on incorporating discrepant events and modeling into their instruction.

Teachers should bring fully charged laptops to the session.

The Louisiana Student Standards for Science workshop are free to 6th – 8th grade science teachers.  Participation is limited. A $25 deposit is required to hold your spot, however the deposit will be returned/credited upon completion of the workshop(s).
