Core Element has partnered with Network for
Good, a nonprofit organization, to allow easy access for our supporters
to contribute online and champion the effort to enhance STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering and Math and) education for the children of the
Greater New Orleans Region.
It’s easy!
While visiting our
web site, click on the
DONATE NOW Through Network for Good button you find on most
pages. You will be connected to the Core Element:
Greater New Orleans STEM Initiative donation page.
Fill out the necessary information and VOILA!, you are done.
Network for Good is a nonprofit organization that makes it easy for
donors to support a designated charity.
Network for
Good also
charges a tax deductible 5% transaction fee on the total amount of the
donation. Visa, Master card and American Express Credit Cards are
accepted. Please note that
Network for Good is creating this transaction on the behalf of Core
Element and will be the merchant of record that appears on your credit
card statement. An
electronic receipt will be provided at the time of the donation. Both
the receipt you see onscreen at the completion of the donation process
and the e-mail you receive shortly thereafter meet all IRS requirements
as a record of donation.
Network for Good is a
Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance
accredited charity that meets all of the BBB standards for charity
accountability (BBB).
Core Element understands that offering our supporters the
opportunity to donate online, allows for an easy transaction and you are
in control of the process
Donors can set up smaller, year-round, donations that can easily fit
into your budget. It is
easy. Just check the box
under “Donation Preferences” that indicates
“I would like to make this a
recurring donation”. You
can designate monthly, quarterly or annul donations.

When you donate
through Network for Good, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of
your gift. This e-mail meets IRS requirements.

Be aware of how much
is really tax deductible.
If support our cause
via a silent auction or raffle and receive a premium in exchange for
your gift (such as a book or a dinner), the amount of your tax
deduction is reduced by the fair market value of the premium. You
can turn down the incentive item if you wish to claim a deduction
for the full amount of your gift.

Ask about matching
gifts.
Many employers match
gifts made by their employees or make grants to organizations
recommended by employees. Be sure to ask your company how it can
help your gift go even further.

Remember, your gift
can be confidential.
If you prefer to have your gift remain confidential, just let us
know, we honor all requests of confidentiality.

forms of giving.
Don't
overlook the benefits to you and to Core Element via charitable gift
