Elementary teachers will take a deep dive into the new Louisiana Student Standards for Science.  Focus on unpacking the Disciplinary Core Ideas and incorporating phenomena in lessons. Teachers should bring fully charged laptops to the session. The Louisiana Science Standards for Science workshop is free to K-5 science teachers.  Participation is limited. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. A $25 deposit is required to hold your spot, however the deposit will be returned/credited upon completion of the workshop. Register HERE.

The annual event gets kids excited about baseball and sparks students’ curiosity in science, technology, engineering and math and the STEM industry opportunities that exist throughout the region. Participating educators are inspired with creative ways they can incorporate hands-on, minds-on STEM learning into the classroom and receive teaching tools from participating partners.
